Yes it runs, but it's just a good graphics card. My laptop has much faster CPU, faster RAM and 3 times the HDD and it runs the same, because it's all based on the graphics card.

Oh yeah, something I forgot in my original post - that is nowhere near Very High. You can see in the first 30 seconds or so of this video that the shadows are either on medium or low, because they are difficult to see, and for the whole duration of the video, you can easily see that the shaders are set to medium, maybe high at the most. It simply isn't bright enough for Very High, and there are no sunrays.

This could possibly pass off for the highest settings in DX9, but not DX10.

No it isn't. The 4650 is a decent mid range card for laptops. It competes with the GeForce GT240M, which is certainly no slouch. If you are comparing to the latest higher end desktop cards like the 5870 and the GTX 480, then it's never going to match up. But you can not go ahead and say that the 4650 is low end, because it isn't.

@PILMAN this will run crysis at medium, about 10 fps on high so it will definitely run all games but you might want to upgrade to a processor with higher gigahertz to be able to get the optimum laptop experience I have a 2.2 Ghz laptop and that is the recommended amount. it is definitely worth upgrading. but due to the dual core processor (if you upgrade keep it that way) and the discrete graphics you wont be dissapointed by low graphics. Btw check out the crysis website for recommended specs

I7 -920 apropriate motherboard 6gb ram ddr3 1tb HDD 7200RPM 700W PSU crossfire ready RADEON 4890 now the setup i listed is the same price and without any arguments atleast 4-6 times faster...with PLENTY of room to upgrade without throwing away old hardware...for example you can add another GPU just like the one you have for double the performance instead of replacing
