not a gay pirate those are just used as meat sheilds. but a real pirate would totaly ravage ninjas lands, take what ever is not nailed down (and if it could be pried it ain't nailed down!) and your forgettin' that pirates will go accross lands to sack a single city (like panama back in the 17th century would be a good example) and pirates are not the fat lazy slobs you may think they must run the ships which is amazeing exercise. and gunpowder is a significant advantage to the pirates.

Or in China, they were martial artist's and or assassins. But since both do not exist now as they did in the past, my comment stands valid. And besides, Hollywood ninjas have magic powers and can use throwing stars to block bullets and can disappear instantly and stuff.

In the real world the ninjas assassinated samurais and took over there castles for there enemys. Ninjas are the first and best assassins...pirates use ships to take over. if the ninja can sneak onto the ship(which he can) all the pirates in the ship will be dead without knowing the ninja was there. Even if they saw the ninja he would use a black egg and disappear. Winner= Ninjas. Yes pirates have a gun but ninjas are just far more superior.

first, pirates and ninja are supposed to get along, it was originally just who one likes more, but people changed it to fighting. ninja aren't Keanu Reeves, they can't dodge bullets. pirates did have women on board as wenches. ninja are criminals too, they're hired by a lord to assasinate other lords. Any ninja saying pirates lose because they're evil or bad or w/e is being a hipocryte just get along! They each have their own strengths and weaknesses, they're as equal as they can get.

Yes, they can. They can dodge bullets. Usually, one bullet at a time though. It's very difficult too. I've taken ninjutsu. Dodging bullets is an extension of dodging knives thrown at you or forward sword thrusts that come at you like...well speeding bullets. The key is to get out of the way a split second BEFORE the attack comes. Missing you by a centimeter is just as good as missing you by a mile. Sorry, if I'm a little obsessed with ninjutsu.
