amazing. first time i saw maiden was at radio city music hall in jan of 85. they were amazing and extremely loud. seeing them at jones beach this summer. can't wait!
@80sThrasher666 If it did deteriorate over the years then it would be age, but Bruce Dickenson has always been the best of the vocalist that Iron Maiden had. Paul was the first and set the standard that was upped by Bruce.... Blaze sucked it big time.
Unfortunately Bruce lost a huge amount of his vocal range during the mid to late eighties, culminating in some of his worst displays during the Seventh Son tour - I personally believe it was down to a mixture of his singing style and touring commitments - he was incredibly lucky however - as the break from Maiden allowed him to get his range back(something which usually never happens to singers). After rejoining the band he was actually singing Run to the hills better live then ever.
@dempasuss and SuperFreedomRock yah Bruce Dickinson is the greatest singer of all time, but i disagree with the uploader. I think Bruce's voice is even better now! just listen to Dream of Mirrors rock in rio or Powerslave flight 666
Hmm. Maybe it´s more mature now. More balanced. But what I like about this is the pure power, rawness and the way he pushes his voice to the edge, it just about to break a few times... No one does that these days.
@dempasuss71 Bruces voice also got more deep and beautuful, more powerful to! and actuely yes Bruce still does do that, listen to Rime of the Ancient Marinre-Flight 666, he sings very aggresivly. truethely though Bruce was the greatest singer in the 80's, greatest singer in the 90's, and greatest singer in 2000's! hes always beeen the best!! and Iron Maiden have always been the best band!!!
@SuperFreedomRock Iron Maiden are still in their prime! i just saw them live and they were EVEN BETTER then they are here, which is saying something!!
@SuperFreedomRock yeah flight of icarus rocks rember my first album saw preist and maiden together in the eighties my ears where still ringing after old met center in bloominton mn.

@SuperFreedomRock - I'm glad you got this from when they were in their prime...
...but I'm also glad they are STILL in their prime, and put even more energy into their live shows now than they did back then. ;-)
