It's a shame Lock Up is only remembered for Morello. I've heard other songs and they were a respectably good band, but because Morello went huge after them, he is there only real factor that people notice.

It's good to hear musicians before they were famous. Of course i prefer tom in RATM but it's still cool. Brad wilk tried auditioning for lock up, and that's how tom and brad met.

Its a cool song, but i hate how RATM fans are always so narrow minded. Tom Was in different bands and experimented in different genres. Im not even a big fan of shredding but i do make the distinction between shredding and fast fretting. I never stated my opinion on the impressiveness of shredding. I do believe shredding is abuse by many musicians. Randy and dime stood apart not because of their ability to play but their ingenuity and their ability to write good music. But i do believe alexi laiho is a good musician and shredding is important to complement the aggressive atmosphere of his songs.
