OMG this is soooooooo funny. I saw the movie on TCM a few nights ago and loved it as well as being shocked by it a little. But then I remembered that movies were risque pre-code days. This is my favorite era for comedy. The Marx Bros are my favorite. Now I have to put Maurice up there now with them.

If i had the chance I would write or/and sing that kind of music only. I love the sound, I don´t know why. It makes me feel easy and a little lascive. Do you use that term in english? It turns me on, sensually and also artistically. Thanks for sharing it Tim. Cheerful cheers André :-)

I would also love to write this kind of music. I am involved with my old college theater from time to time and would love to have one of my plays performed. I write plays in this old style. But after seeing this movie, One Hour With You, I want to write the music too now even more than I did before. I LOVE Vaudeville. The Marx Bros, Hope and Crosby and now I found out how funny Chevalier was.
