I don't think you can kill the cats : / I know you couldn't in the first one.. . They just get knocked unconscious as far as I know.

Hmmm, was the sub quest deliver one egg without slaying the cats? They could have posed quite a problem when trying to retrieve an egg. Heh, funny nonetheless.
