Get to bottom of dam thru a secret two mile tunnel from Page down to river. Before the bus ride to the bottom, they check for guns, bombs, knifes and if you appear to be crazy, then they give you helmets so rocks don't fall on your head. Off course the money more important then security. Check out my Float video, mikeminnesota video called Colorado Rafting with Insight Vacations
Hi there. There is a raft company that does tours from the Damn to Lee's Ferry. You can pay them $30 to take you, your gear, and your boats back up to the damn from Lee's Ferry when they drop their peeps off at Lee's. I am forgetting the name of the company right now... they are out of Page though. I'm sure you can google Day trips on the Colorado from Glen Canyon Damn... or something like that and find the company.
@switchbsnine, You drive over Navajo bridge (past the damn if coming from UTAH, before if coming from AZ - which I am - and turn at Lee's Ferry. You park down at Lee's Ferry with all your gear, and when the rafts pull up that are dropping people at Lee's Ferry (those that paid the company for a ride DOWN river get shuttled back to their cars at the damn), you pile your boats and gear in the big motor rig and they take you back up to the damn so you can float/paddle down and fish, camp, whatever
