@DrCruel We are indeed a society that loves to play the victim. We are constantly looking for things to place the blame on for the problems in our society instead of taking responsibility for our actions. Our kids act like little assholes and get in trouble all the time and we want to blame the cartoons, the comic books, the toys, etc. We want to blame everything but the ones responsible for it, which is our own damn selves. I truly hope people will take Bill Cosby's words to heart.

@PR13STG0RD0 Actually his message is this "Bring the highest quality out of you, regardless" That is why when he called Eddie Murphy not to speak swearing words in his shows Eddie Murphy didn't understand because Eddie Murphy thinks being rebellious means being rude vulgar disrespect the mores. Jazz Music is a universal Music and it is the music of the black Americans. That's why Cosby in his shows refelcts it a lot. So is the blues. Rap, Hip Hop, except few, are mere hate reflections.

Wonderful commencement speech...made me proud to be a Nerd. I only wish my commencement addresses (for my undergraduate or my graduate degrees) were as inspiring and witty. This is a classic, right up there with the "Are You Dead?" address at Howard!

Bill stands to lose much by anything being falsely said by the opportunistic about regardless of it being true or not. Perception is ones reality regardless of the truth or its validity. Often people settle out of court to stop the rhetoric simply because, regardless if its true, is too damaging to ones popularity.
