Assassins Creed started off as a story driven game. Multiplayer is really taking the focus away from that. It's like a fantastically illustrated storybook.

Well it was - until Revelations.

It ended pretty strong, but played pretty weak and barely compares to the shadow of the previous two titles.

Ever since they added this multiplayer crap, the stories(you remember, the actual PART that made Assassin's Creed, Assassin's Creed) have gotten WAYYYY too fuckin' short. The game is turning into Call of Duty, where they focus too much on the multiplayer and not enough on the story. Assassin's Creed 2 had 14 sequences + ALL the side quests. Brotherhood and Revelations(the birth and continuation of this multiplayer shit) only had 8 or 9 sequences... WTF?!

@arc101 sorry bro, I disagree. Kingdom hearts is suffering from the same issues as Assassin Creed is. The KH fanbase is split over those that feel that the side games are in fact side games or new installments in themselves. Me, I view all KH games after KH2 as side games meant to build the story, but not really adding anything significant. The only 2 games are KH: Birth By Sleep, and the new KH: DDD. The other 3 were pure side games that served little to no purpose.

Bomb making isn't hard... or bad, for that matter. It took some getting used to, but using bombs is actually pretty fun now. Den Defense sucks, but otherwise, this game is at least a 4.5/5.

It might not be perfect, but the AC game are more well made and have a better story than almost ever game out there so far. If we could give games a grade then I would easily give all the AC game a A (90%-95%). A 4/5 is only an 80% and that just isn't high enough for these games.

@db28301 I couldn't disagree more. Some people, myself included, want an interactive, cinematic experience. That means that the easier the game is, the more fun it is. In a movie, a character doesn't get stuck or die halfway through. Playing on easy makes it more realistic and, for those of us who want the story to feel real, more fun.

I think the should push the boundaries alot more with the next game, and flesh out the recruitment system. And make every aspect of the game more solid.

Instead of the gimmicks found in every assasins creed. e.g. the villa from assasins creed 2.

You know really put the effort in to improve there game instead of these annual updates like fifa. But then that wouldn't make as much money. :(
