Opera Mini works also on Google Android smarphones platform. Android is powered by JAVA so you dont need aditional java emulator ...

Given that GPRS is basically dial-up (usually 25-40kbps) speed, even a desktop pc would take a while to download coolsmartphone dot com at dial-up speeds. Would be interesting to compare the two browsers on wi-fi or 3G speeds.
