Richard Nixon came so close to winning that election in 1960.If he did he would have met his watergate (or some other scandal like it) 10 years earlier,he would have resigned the presidency and Henry Cabot Lodge would have become president.Maybe in the afterlife you can see what would have happened in history in an alternate universe?Or maybe the afterlife is like waiting in line at the Department of Motor Vehicles?I'm not going to get my hopes up either way.

That guy got the Middle letter in Richard Nixon wrong it is Richard M Nixon not Richard A Nixon.

Nelson Rockefeller did not say "Richard A. Nixon".

Rather, Rockefeller said "Richard E. Nixon."

That of course was a mistake on Rockefeller's part.  For, as everyone knows, the correct name was "Richard M. Nixon."

Can someone tell me why it's so hard to find video of the 1964 convention, esp. Goldwater's speech? I can only find a short clip of it. All other conventions you can find lots of clips of, though. It's weird. It's like people forget Goldie even existed and was nominated by the party.
