I love this man, he's just honest and be himself, i find it hard to do, except if you have accepted yourself, bad sides and good sides. But we also see that Noel is kinda charming, he can be really charming.. especially to his wife.

if someone asked you, if u liked a band and u said, no they suck, thats your opinion,

it just happens that most celebrities play this game, where they can't say what they mean, and stay politically correct, noel and liam don't play that game,

I've heard people calling him rude a million times.. and arrogant. But i've seen tons of videos of him, and never ONCE did he seem rude, to me. He just has a spicy type of humor; very sarcastic - hilarious actually. And says his opinion, and whatever is on his mind. That's why he's so fucking great. he doesn't attack other people, so hes not rude at all. He criticised my all time favorite band once, but I don't mind really, because that's his opinion, and he wasn't rude about it

I think the fact that the interviewer was very respectful and not pushy/interrogative allowed Noel to relax and open up a bit, he didn't have to be defensive. Great interview for that reason.

He said that he could only aspire the the cultural impact of the Beatles. Which may be true. But then again...there will never be another Oasis.

I think that the most telling thing is that new British bands are no longer the biggest thing since the Beatles, or the next Beatles. They are the next Oasis, and the biggest thing since Oasis. And that makes me proud.

Oasis are huge in Japan, but its only recently that they've become big over there (strangely). I think Don't Believe The Truth was their first number one album there, although i may be wrong

Oasis have been mentioned in Japan's major foreign music magazines before their 2005 album...so they've been quite well known and popular among foreign music fans in Japan for quite a while. So it's not like they've just started to become popular or anything over here.

Oasis changed my life. I'm 17, and I heard The Importance Of Being Idle on the radio on the way to Gatwick Airport and couldn't get it out of my head. I bought Don't Believe The Truth at the terminal, and since then i look at music completely differently. Thank you Oasis.

wow what a great interview the arrogance and bad language seems to have faded a wee bit as noel has matured more serious side where he admitted that oasis will never have the cultural impact that the Beatles had 10 out of 10 very good interview

Noel never actually felt they were bigger than the Beatles.

He was joking around, and was really, really drunk most of the time... However, at the top of his career upon his ridiculously large amounts of success in a couple of years due to only his song writing (all the other great bands had multiple songwriters), he enjoyed being cocky.

The Japanese journalist mentioned that his friends said he'd have a hard time interviewing Noel and Noel responded "Maybe about 3 or 4 years ago it'd be very difficult but..... perhaps..even after wachting millions of interviews I don't get him at times-also because my mother tongue is spanish-that mancunian accent is hard enough. But I'not all mistaken; something changed in the band-(besides andy & gem) and in noel's head and its clear on SOTSOG. Who feels love: "now you understand that this is not the promised land, they spoke out" I guess they've grown up, but I still dig it!
