Finally Scrooge gets a family! and that's worth more then all the money in the world! How cute and tender! Man they don't make good shows anymore do they? All they've got now is stupid stuff like Spongebob and Adventure Time on Nick and Cartoon Network. Nothing good on TV anymore!
@bigfornoreason1 Donald's voice is so well established that it would be virtually impossible to change it and have anyone believe it IS Donald. Lots of people, e.g. comment threads on YT, complain they do not understand a word. It's a problem. But while the Nephews also had that voice, it was felt possible to change because people really associate it with Donald. Otherwise few would be able to follow it not only when D speaks but when ANYone speaks. Show is too long for that.
@RealMannyPeng Sure they are fingers. Saying Gimme 4 is a little joke on the well known fact that almost all cartoons and comic book/strip characters of the funny genre had 4 fingers. Here they are calling attention to it, by saying 4. Maybe not the funniest joke ever, but it's worth a smile. By this time cartoon (and movie) injokes were an important part of animation. Modern animation, esp full length, is absolutely brimming with this kind of humor. People love it.
Go Ducks United. Almost United. I hope Donald gets back into it. While it's good for Scrooge to bond with HD&L, the Ducks should be 5 not 4.

I never understood why everyone in the show talked relatively normally except Donald. Why is Donald the only one who actually sounds like a duck?

@TheJedimanman123 DuckTales was massively popular in the end of the 80s, and will definitely go down in history.
Other shows you should give a try are Rescue Rangers (1989) and Dastardly & Muttley (1969).
