  • OPERATION PEN LMAO

  • Yes that nurse is fat. I would not go to her for health information.

  • i wanna bang that mom!

  • Schools should have P.E everyday.

  • @Silentonion Not enough time in the day. Especially in high school, kids take a lot classes. 3 days week seems fine.

  • @Iwuzhere321 What? No they don't at my high school it was 3 classes and P.E. Then why would there be lot's of fat kids in America. Becuase kids now don't play outside as much as before because now of stuff like video games, computer, and serving food like low nutritionalfood like pizza and hot dogs at school. Because it's cheaper.

  • @Silentonion In my school which has 8 periods & carries well over 1.5k students & the kids have 7 or 8 classes, & we have a gym class every other day which is switched off with a health, science or lunch depending on the schedule and how many electives the student is enrolled in or if they take some college classes. I actually have 9 classes because I enrolled in extra business class & gave up my lunch period. So many kids in my school prefer to work hard for college not play.

  • What's the nurse's BMI? Certainly it's not <25. What a pig. This is not the way to handle childhood obesity.

  • Self esteem? Being fat harms your self esteem. Better they get help.

  • I never eat fast food or school lunch. I do buy their water though, and milk.

  • BMI complete bullshit! I'm 5'3 and 120 pounds and I appear to be much thinner. My BMI wants me to be 108 pounds, how much fucking skinnier can I get?!

  • obesity is really entertaining and comforting to watch from afar isn't it? but then you get fat too...:(

  • Wow. Fuck that. I don't think it's the school's god damn business. Maybe if they worried more about their shitty curriculum, and not about the kid's bmi, then they won't go up to be the dumbfucks i'm seeing nowadays

  • A extremely obese doctor told my friend that he was fat. He is kind of chubby but i just find it funny.

  • WTF i'm 13 and underweight

  • @jawsflounderace i know right! because of those fat bastards out there, this bullshit is affecting my life too! my school meals have became smaller and P.E class is everyday now. i'm also underweight and pissed. they shouldn't bother the kids who are non-obese. i can't enjoy a good size snack nowadays because of this!

  • Basically this is how it goes.

Nurse: Hmm, This kid is fat for his age. Needs to lose his weight. GOTTA SEND LETTER!

  • BMI's are NOT realistic and do not account for things such as bone density. Unfortunately this nurse has her shit wrong. Good idea..but it's going to take more than weighing and measuring height to calculate health.

  • come on, do you really have to measure and weigh the kids? Can't you just tell if someone is overweight? Seriously.

  • thalia is hot

  • Low calorie drinks.... DRINK WATER.

  • i like junk food, and i'm not fat, actually is one of the things that help me to keep my weight D:

  • that's STUPID

it's a simptom of something gone wrong not a desease...

  • quit feeding your kids processed garbage and make them go outside and play!! yes, the solution is that simple.

  • "I regret to inform you that your child is, indeed, a fatass."

  • More schools should do this, but also put into consideration of the amount of sit ups, pushups, etc they can do on the report card. As well as miles they can run.

  • bmi is meaningless

  • the lady is fat herself...

  • the lady is fat herself...

  • I would take a fruits or vegetables over a bag of Doritos any day.

  • @smokintheblaze As a matter of fact schools are throwing recess and Physical Education under the bus.

  • 1:55 hawt

  • Yes self esteem is far more important than physical health.

  • Every time you eat, you have the opportunity to improve or worsen your body.

  • Obesity is definitely a problem in America, and it's a big part of the rising cost of health care. Several studies have shown as much as 15% of health care expenditures can be directly attributed to obesity among Americans. Basically, fat people want to eat and eat without any kind of consequence, whether it be to their health or being accepted in society [socially]. Sorry, but being a fat ass unhealthy pig is not helping anything, including yourself. You need to take the fork out of your mouth.

  • @SexSteakSoda AND GET YOUR FAT ASS IN THE GYM!!!!

  • I like oatmeal and carrots and pears. I like all kinds of different vegetables and fruits, but my favorite berry is the Lingonberry. Anyone else have a favorite berry x-D

  • @VhUgGz I don't understand why kids constantly eat junk food. I mean, I don't mind picking up a large bag of Cheetos and scarfing it down in one sitting (that normally makes me want to take a walk). But I mean, fruits taste really delicious especially if you buy them fresh. I eat fruits for snacks after school. I eat fruits just when I'm hungry... and my favorite berry is blueberry. But my favorite fruit is persimmon.

  • @XAlphaZEROX True... I actually am a kid, and i'm not a huge fan of Cheetos, but I like Doritos and Sun Chips... but fruit does taste delicious. Oranges, apples, pears, watermelon, etc... yummy... Also English muffins with peanut butter and other foods taste good. :)

  • jesus christ is solution to this problem.

  • @bass109 lies

  • that nusre weighing the kids need to hope on the scale!

  • @SlumberCloud hop

  • why are all the ones that r on tv skinny

  • that nurse is obese maybe she should send a letter to her own mom.

  • @yenyoo HAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAH

  • @yenyoo She isn't obese at all. There is too skinny, regular weight, slightly overweight and then obese. Plus people who are old tend to be larger...

  • i went to that school before i moved in the 6th grade lol

  • omg if you go to 1:30 i know that girl she rode my bus in middle school....

  • @element37217 "small" world eh?

  • See ladies, I don't have high expectations, you're just too damn fat :P

  • Mom is hot!

  • ginger fkin twat she needs to grow up talking to kids like ht GROOWW UPP ME MAAN!!!

  • that nurse is fat:D

  • @Icemaster14

She doesn't look like a model, but i don't think she is overweight.

  • That girl in the pinks boobs probably weighed her down abit lol

  • @halflinks Zactamundo. Maybe if they channeled federal funding right low-income families wouldn't have to camp out KFC to get food in their stomach. Hence not-fatness.

  • @CuddleNation for a 20 peice bucket meal its about $40-45 bucks at KFC. Your telling me $45 can't pay for breakfast lunch and dinner for a family of 4 in one day?

  • It's no surprise the Texas didn't want to participate... Huston TX is the #1 fattest city in America.

  • i like her pen

  • Georgia worried about harming students self esteem! Bullshit, the politicians in power in Georgia had vested interests in Junk Food companies or were bribed by those companies to not pass laws that could lead to healthy children.

  • also you dont have to be fit to be healthy either, you just have to make the right choices.

  • What about extremely muscular children?

  • i think they use the caliper method too

  • Georgia worried it might harm the students' self esteem?

If they change their eating habits and got rid of the weight, it would help their self esteem.

The idiots in my state never cease to amaze me...

  • o.O I agree that people should be healthy. And that parents have to show there kids healthy eating habits. But i dont understand how you can tell kids to lose weitgh??? There bodys are constently changing and growning. The kids in elementary school still have baby fat. And the older kids are going thrugh puberty. I think that parents should try there best to feed there kids healthy foods. But for no reason should little kids be put on diets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @XAlinkaX Yeah about 80 pounds of baby fat, it's not about "loosing weight" it's about being healthy, wether it's loose weight of gain it.

  • They're worried about damaging the kids self-esteem? Fuck the kid's self-esteem, I'd rather look at a thin person with no self-respect than fat ass that has no self-respect because other kids make fun of him/her.

  • making it about appearances simply objectifies the person. It shouldn't be about what you like to see. It should be about health.

  • That's a middle school chick!? She is filled out like a college whore.

  • i guess that means im ok my bmi is 18.7

  • BMI is so full of shit, it says nothing about how healthy you are. It was invented by a Belgian mathematician who wanted to see trends in people in the 1800's, it had nothing to do with how healthy those people were.

If you are predisposed, genetically, to being on the heavy side, then that's your healthy weight, making you skinnier will not necessarily make you healthier.

Good nutrition and exercise is good, but BMI is full of crap

  • Its called eating healthy and exercising like we USED to do hundreds of years ago, hunting for our food and working. But people are too lazy now a days..Its primarily the parents fault. Technology is good by most of us take advantage of it and thats why we have obesity, cancer, and all that other WONDERFUL shit...

  • OK, schools shouldnt be nagging kids about exercise with all their rules. i understand EATING habits, but they are always saying do "Safe" exercise. Such as running up and down stairs and "Sports", but these kind of sports are track and field and track. thats basically running laps. I just HATE how teachers nag my fat classmates for exercise, 'cause in 4th grade a teacher came outta NOwhere and started yelling at me for playing TAG! She said u should "Run Laps" and keep your hands 2 yourselves.

  • the mom is such a milf

  • I love Childhood obesity.

  • BMI =/= bodyfat %

  • Nurse Scully looks like she is failing the grade... has anyone weighed her?

  • I find it stupid how to call an adult fat and tell them to lose weight is unacceptable but to do the same to a child who does not have the experience and coping mechanism as an adult does is disgusting. That kind of pressure is more likely to lead to a child running their finger down their throat then being healthy because they have no control over their health at that age. I was an obese child so i know the pain. I am healthy now because i am wiser and more independent. The nurse is a bully.

  • I think it's a good thing, Because maybe it will help those children come from being obese later on in life.

  • she needs to lose weight too! I mean look at her. I bet she was thinking about a juicy hamburger when she was weighing them and laughing because the kids cant have them but she can stick her fat as in a drive thru

  • @FatPopCorn they did this when I was in 7th and 8th grade. One by one in front of everyone else it was very bad. I was thankful I wasnt "fat" because all those kids had to go to one side of the room to get another fitness test

  • Lunch in a school cafeteria SHOULD be way healthier than one from your local fast food joint. What a crying shame!

  • Ever notice how nurses are kinda fat? i find that ironic.

  • @2AugustRush96 It's probably because they have stressful jobs. Many of the nurses I know who are thin are smokers.

  • @2AugustRush96 i know right? practice what you preach,

  • i think its fantastic how their trying aware kids of healthy choices, but i have point out he fact that the bmi this is total bull. the bmi takes no consideration of the lean muscle mass. if im 170 lbs 5'3 15 year old but has mostly lean muscle the bmi would consider it all fat. the bmi is bullshit and they had known it for years

  • @kissntellen If it's lean muscle, thats not fat. i totally agree with you. lol you sound like ur ripped. xD

  • @kissntellen, yes, for some people the BMI is inaccurate, however, for most people it is pretty accurate. Plus, you can totally tell just by looking at a kid whether they are flabby or ripped, it's really not too hard to determine the cause of a higher BMI. And how many of these kids are going to be so muscular that they skew their BMI? I'd wager not many.

  • wt i will sa, they should change all the food from the cafeteria and eating less sugar! if u cut sugar from your diet u can loose weight very easilly.

  • overweight kids gets made fun of- but now school nurses-maybe the docters should do this instead-kids get emotional from this

  • i dont think its the schools bisness- id rather have some one i know and trust (my own doctor ) to tell me if i have to loose a little wait-thats why i never go to school appointments

  • i am 26 5'4 and i am 80 pounds i was once 200 pounds in my teen years i lost all that weight with eating at hme and less fast food and working out

  • you are a frigging midget

  • ya i know LOL

  • you're 5'4 and 80 lbs? That isn't healthy. That pretty extreme. You should be at least 110.

  • Just stop eating everything you see. It's that simple, I promise.

  • @SarahLee1 i can attest to that aswell lol

  • Also, junkfood is JUNK food for a reason.

Vegetables and fruits are fucking delicious.

  • get rid of the sugar and you will get fit , limit to 2 fruits a day at most and sweet deserts no more than once a week.

  • So you're saying that I should give up my fresh, low calorie, nutrient-dense fruit because it has a little sugar in it? Calories, not sugar, are what makes you gain weight.

  • you are wrong, too much sugar will make you hungry 3-4 hours after eating no matter how much you eat.

  • Um, no. It's true that candy won't fill you up, but fruit will. Fruit has fiber in it, which keeps you full for a long time. Don't try to tell me that's false, I know from personal experience that eating fruit keeps me just as full as low-sugar foods. And 3-4 hours is about a normal amount of time to stay full after eating, which is why it's better to eat lots of little meals. Point is, how much weight you gain relies on how many calories you consume, no matter where those calories come from.

  • @scizophrenicpanda

I agree with you that fiber keeps you fed longer and definitelly slows down your eating so you think about it but different calories are not the same because sugars or simple carbohydrates activate insulin immediatelly which stores all sugar as fat in the cells to be used later. Proteins and natural fats like coconut oil instead are immediatelly processed by kidney and used for immediate and lasting energy and rebuilding

  • As someone who has a degree in the health science field..Very bad advice. I would never tell someone to limit to two fruits a day..simply because of the nomenclature.

A fruit is any seeded "food' part of a plant. That includes cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers as well as apples, pairs and oranges

  • @Syzydeh No. They're not. But they make me look good so I eat them and don't eat junk food. But I still hate fruits and veges. I will always hate them.

  • @Syzydeh

They should tax junk food in the super markets.

  • @Syzydeh yea thanks mom!

  • @Syzydeh

    Plus they are cheaper too.

  • @SarahLee1 that advice really come in handy when ur in a college dining hall or other all-you-can-eat settings

  • if i can't be skinny then NO ONE WIIIILL!!!! AAAHAHAAHAHAH!!! *goes on killing spree*

  • im 14 and 280 pounds. but i run a 8.5 minute mile and am always active, i dont have a problem keeping up with the skinny kids on my baseball team. if you saw me you would never guess i weigh 280. its weird, on the other hand i know kids who are 200 pounds and cant run a mile straight without stopping, is there alot of muscle behind my fat that i dont know about, or is my body just built that way??? any answers would be greatly appreciated :D, also im not easily winded, i think its really weird

  • so how tall are you?

sometimes it's how people are built, i mean theirs line backers in football that are about your same weight and can run far also.

  • 6'0 brawny shoulderd slender build

  • @ZeppelinFreak13 muscle weighs more than fat

  • texas blocked it lol they need it the most

  • holy shit a fucken bus in a school

  • LOL what is this? Middle School? NO wonder why its made a law because middle school kids are making stupid choices to eat unhealthy, great, now high school doesnt have any more candy bars for dessert x[

  • i notices nurse was fat by herself

  • We regret to inform you that your child is indeed a fat ass.

  • @Harvest8888 HAHAHHAHAH thats awesome.

  • @Harvest8888 lol

  • hahaha imagen the camera guy for this video "hey get that one......no wait get that one, now there is a sow" funny thing is i bet they had to ask for the kids concent to be on camera hmmm...... wonder if they told the truth on that one

  • What a great initiative! Many children will avoid obesity related diseases later in life as a result of this program.

  • That mom is a MILF.

  • agreed

  • Have you noticed the nurse is a little pudgy herself. Hmmm. I think I'm hungry... joking.

  • Obese children should be turn into soaps and candles.

  • BMI is too flawed and should not be used.

I'm a bodybuilder at 8% bodyfat, and when I had my "body mass index" taken, they put me a 28... it's a bullshit system

  • Exactly, it's only weight/height. It disregards the fact that muscle weighs up to 3 times as much as fat.

  • Of course, every system has an exception, but I don't think elementary or middle school kids are body builders, or develop enough muscle to be considered overweight.

But it is something to keep in mind when you are basing someone's weight with the BMI

  • lol. i'm 172 cm. & 50kg. europe :D :]

  • lol many Americans have no idea what "cm" as well as "kg" is . Translate.lol

  • does that mean centimeter and kiligram?

  • "Kilograms" and centimeters . Right. You are one in a million. lol

  • That grim looking nurse is clearly overweight herself. Why doesn't she admit that? I wouldn't want to be measured by that grim woman if I were a child.

  • exercise for children goes as follow;4AM triathalon, 5KM swimmin race, 10 Mile bike race, 5KM, sprint race...: )

  • lol

  • Fat people gross me out, unless they're funny. But I hate that. I hate how society has learned to reject or ridicule obese people, and I hate how I've fallen into that trend.

  • We did that....I was 103.56

I was so nervous 'cuz there's a 5th grader in my class last year who was FIFTY POUNDS!!!!!

  • wrf the nurse is fat her self that pisses me off

  • Body mass index does not take in account how much muscle you have. Especially when it is taken like this with just your height and weight recorded its wrong.

  • Fat beats humans? Lol

  • haha! my bmi is so high, because i work out 247, - and i am muscly. everyones different. and i dont think people should be judged by a number, unless they do have serious health problems, or are obese. so what if your a bit overweight. i find people to look normal and better when they have curves.

i feel bad for those kids, it's a great way to create anorexia and eating disorders. i know that that's what happened to me, after being critisized about my weight all the time.

  • "georgie is not using the method because it might hurt the children's self esteem"...wow, so obesity and being overweight doesnt affect a kid's self-esteem? Its not about making people feel bad for their diets, its bringing people's attention, mostly the parent's, so they can start to keep their kid's diet udner control!

  • There's no actual research showing that self-esteem has any impact on performance. It appears to be more of a success thermometer.

  • im underweight SHOOT!

  • yeah when out obesity % for kids in america is 17% yeah then obviously kids aren't making the correct choices enough of the time. i was a fat kid all my life and i have changed that. i was at almost 400 pounds 31 yrs old and you dont want kids to HAVE to make a decision for Surgery or diet pills. teach them right early and get it engrained!

  • that mom's a milf

  • pretty fat yourself nurse scully. i'm not taking health advice from this her, because she's clearly doing something wrong in her diet

  • yay im a averege

  • im 4 sumthing 68 pounds and 10 years old is that ok?? do i need to gain weight or loose any weight??

  • you're all rightm you are semi you don't have to loose or gain weight,,

  • I can see junk food being taken out of Elementry, and Middle School Cafeterias, but once your in 9th grade it should be up to the student, I'm 5'5 and 187lbs (yeah I'm short) but being in 10th grade I like to make my own decisions, so take the snacks from the kids, but let students in HighSchool make up their minds if they want to be fat, skinny, or average. And I'm bout average.

  • dude your definitely overweight. really your not the best person to be giving food advice over youtube considering im 9 inches taller than you and weigh less.

  • Your extremely overweight.

Your BMI is like 30.1 which falls under the Obesity category.

Im 5'7 and 125, thats average.

  • I just lost a bit more weight down to 184lbs and I checked my BMI 2 days ago and it was 29 something, it had 30.1 cause I just say I'm 5'5'' when I'm 5'5 1/2, its just quicker to type 5'5'', but the point is I did check and I'm at the very end of overweight, not obese (at least not anymore)

  • well it's just you said you were average.

  • wow, i thought the UNITED STATES of America were UNITED. Clearly the whole idea of states regulating their own laws is completely flawed.

  • MILF MILF MILF!!!!!

  • HEEEEEEL YEA

  • wow i almost cumed in my pants when i saw that milf

  • I'm ok with Generation Z being obese. It's a good form of population control. Hopefully Gen Z dies off right about the same time that Gen X does, and leaves everything to Generation Y. More economic resources for Gen Y. Then everybody in Gen Y would upgrade to a new 24 inch iMac and we'd all be happy watching videos on all the dead Baby Boomers and new fat kids! GGGOOOOOO IMAC!

  • mac blows

  • Am I too skinny? I'm 5'7 and my BMI is like 19.2. I am tall for my age.

  • you are not underweight but you could use a few lbs...and you will gain weight as you age. I am same height 1 more BMI pt higher. 20 y.o

  • Lol, that woman seems depressing..."You know the drill...on the scale."

    -Zym

  • Taking junk food out of schools is a bad idea. All it does is take choices away and then give them back later. This way they do not learn the skills when its ok to get a treat and when it is not or when it is too much. Another problem is at highschools you can just walk somewhere and get your fix. I guess they count walking as excersise.

  • Texas is paranoid the Union's gonna take over. Georgia is just a fat fuck state. I think the south is trying to get everyone fat.

  • Waist to Hip Ratio is better imo

  • This video made me laugh because the nurse who does the charts is overweight herself.

  • shes old she can afford to be a fat lard

  • I like how they have the mother doing dishes. This is a national broadcaster, not some back woods local operation. Out of everyone who saw this before air, no one thought, wow that perpetuates a stereotype. People attack guys like Dave Chapelle for making jokes. Quick little subliminal things like this is what makes the country sexist.
