Vamps are immune to pretty much everything these days - otherwise, there would be no need for a good swordfight. However, if a fire consumes them completely, there obviously would be nothing left.
I think it can be totally be used as a deterrent - especially for comic effect. Folks don't know that fire has no effect on our vamps so it might be fun for a vamp to make fun of the fire-wielding slayer by pretending to be frankenstein... "fire bad!"
i was just wondering, since there are almost no videos in this contest with the deadline just around the corner, you should probably extend the deadline a couple more days, give some more people time to make videos and hear about the contest.
The reason why there are only a few videos yet is because the deadline has officially been extended until July 16th and it appears everyone is waiting until the last second to put their episodes online.
few quick questions: first off, can i have my camera guy in the episode be an actual character (i.e. have him speak, interact with other characters, or set the camera on a tripod and enter the scene) so long as the majority of the film has him behind the camera? next, how will be prize money be given (paypal, check, mail)?
You can definitely have your camera guy be a character. That's one of the unique aspects of the show. Our LA camerman is named Mikey and we've never seen him or heard from him. If he needs to respond, the camera shakes yes or no.
Prize money will be distributed in whatever manner the winners choose.
ok buddy i think you got yourself a challenge! I'm ready! quick questions... can it have a sense of humor, adn does it have to be reality tv style? can i use "Narrative camera angles" im not supposed to be a guy with a camera am i?
I'm hoping it has a sense of humor, and yes, it's supposed to be reality TV, so you have to be creative if you want to use "narrative camera angles". Check out a couple episodes - you'll get the idea.
Quick slaying question Bob, are the bloodsuckers still wary of fire or is that out the window to?
