  • Wow.. Chambers... and Benny Green. They are the best part about this group...In this half, at least.

  • this is just so unbelievably tight & beautiful - what a quartet - Freddie came to SF in 2008 prior to his death, and I missed the show. have always regretted that. but thanks for this - a worthy memory of his greatness.

  • @RileyRampant quintet

  • Chambers is mislabeled as piano in the description. Just a heads up.

  • whoooo

  • Freddie had such a clean approach! His lines were flawless.

  • Great tune, great performance, great camera work! I love Freddie's facial expressions, and there is a terrific view of Carl Allen. Nice post of a beloved and much-missed trumpet legend.

  • This is hot shit. I gotta learn this tune. Seen it an assload in my fake book. For some reason I was under the impression Benny Green was black. Maybe I'm just intoxicated.

  • I like watching Freddie chill while he's listening to his players. Who's the motherfu%#er on piano?

  • That "motherfucker" is the great Benny Green.

  • He is so fucking lyrical. I love his playing. Bye Freddie.

  • great tune my combo jammed out on this one personal favorite
