@chumpetboy Yeh, too many mistakes :-) just kidding. This video is something i slapped together to use as a service in Prague on the big screen (cause there wasn't one). Some of the quality of the recording I had wasn't so crash hot, so I had to use some pre-recorded stuff to compensate. anyway, now we actually have a service at the Commonwealth cemetery here so things have progressed. no fear, wasn't a reflection on you.
because of the aussies and kiwis buried in the Prague War Cemetary and the fact we aussies/kiwis hold a service in just about every place there is one of us. and secondly because we have soldiers buried in more than 80 countries.
the official national anthem is advance Australia fair and not waltzing Matilda at all But God save the Queen is also played at ceremonies of this kind ok
Bro, Advance Australia Fair is the national anthem. The Australian military band that played the various tunes (the first one being the Turkish national anthem) - played a range of tunes (not all in this video) basically to wake people up - pre dawn service opening. Let's face it, Advance Australia Fair and God Defend New Zealand are not the biggest selling hits of the 20th century.
Hey bro. Can you answer me this question? What's the official national anthem of Australia? It's not really Watzing Matilda, is it? If no, why did they play it there? Thanks.

They shall not grow old,
As we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them,
Nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun,
And in the morning,
We will remember them.
Lest We Forget
Salute
