  • WOW !! What a voice. The power behind that voice just builds and builds as the song progresses.

  • Jody is simply"awesome".....nuff said

  • shes awesome

  • What a verbrado

  • The Child can SING!!!

  • i just have to say it. i would bust my ding dong all over that!

  • The gogo dancers look like they have a bad case of worms.

  • lol this is really old school.

  • hugely underrated fantastic voice!my mom got this album when i was 3 so i know every song by heart

  • IS GREAT

  • I like this version with only one exception...the drum solo. This song did NOT need a drum solo. Poor Jody looks like she doesn't quite know what to do during that part.

  • Is there anything she can't interpret? I didn't think I'd like this, but I do! Why wasn't she more popular?

  • jody had it all great looks, huge voice!!!!

  • Hot Chick!, Smoking hot voice!!!

  • She's my uncle

  • HAHAHA

  • Contrast her performance here with her performance at the Sanremo Music Festival, where she sang the Italian version of You Don't Have to Say You Love Me. That little lady could sing anything. What a voice.

  • Good song.

  • wow awesome she sounds good and i love her moves

  • This is from 1965, in the middle of Jody's "Capitol pop" era. This number is from side 2 of her "Queen of the House" LP, with the hyped up tempo and gutsy guitar work courtesy of producer Billy Strange. It (and this video) is exhibit "A" of how Capitol was trying to take Jody's country roots and re-position them (and her) into rock n' roll. Unfortunately, the fit wasn't quite there - if only Capitol had worked this element longer, a "folk rock" route might have eventually emerged. Sigh....

  • Great dancing !

  • Jody is my cousin!! i'm so proud to have her in my family!!!!! :) of course, she's much older than me... we have a big family

  • Can you tell her she's fantastic! Google got me here (it's a long story). Suffice to say her voice is great, love the dancing and the words are inspirational!

  • i am a fan she is fantastic great singer deserved more success

  • @latefor . You are correct. In today's world of country music where looks is what counts (Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, etal) she would have been an incredible superstar. Not only is she gorgeous, she can sing.

  • The guy introducing this segment makes Andy Dick look butch.

  • I wonder if it's "Big Al" from Laugh-In.

  • After this, and Jody Miller's "Home Of The Brave" video, I've become quite the fan of her singing - 40 years later.

  • Jody Miller had a wonderful voice. I can't understand why she never had enduring commercial success. I think she was lost in the shuffle with the more successful ladies of country in the '70s .. Dolly Parton, Lynn Anderson, Tammy Wynette and Loretta Lynn. Too bad ... Jody sings as well, if not better, than any of them.

  • The best version of this song I ever heard. And I never even heard of Jody Miller before.

  • She's my cousin! she actually has a daughter named Robin Brooks who sings as well!

  • your such a dork sis....he he

  • I was a fan of hers since I heard her singing "He's So Fine" on the radio in the early seventies.

That other video of her on youtube singing "Queen Of The House" was interesting - but a little over done.

  • Only thing I didn't like about her take of He's So Fine is that they use the guitar hook from My Sweet Lord. This was when it was discovered that the two songs sounded alike and it seemed to me that the hook was used to drive the point home. Otherwise it was indeed a nice song.

  • i wish that this song didn't have that xtra jingle her voice and the guitar would have sounded great

  • amazing performance considering it is live

  • i love the go-go dancers!! soooo cool!

  • And one of the rare episodes of this show to exist on videotape instead of kinescope. Cool. ;)

  • Jody has an outstanding voice. She's pretty.
