@ShadowSpiritSean Yup it will be hard to fold it. As this is a really complex model. You will need thin and big paper. You can try using tissue that is at least 50 cm square

Tadashi, you need to use the direct CP. ( I didn't make my own, I printed it) I am using one that is 7inches by 7inches. It's pretty small but if you do not work directly with the CP others can get lost. I am lost at the construction of the head & wings and I am not an amateur origamist.. Please help me on this. I am really dying to make this phoenix!

to make COLOR SIDE up. Look at the big diamond in the middle. When you fold both the diagonal lines, ur model should be colored on both sides. Thats how u know if u got the right orientation.

@T3rminat0r1E It's actually quite strong, which was definitely a surprise to me when I saw it for the first time. I can get 2 feet by 3 feet sheets for about $2.50 to $3, so it's not TOO expensive, but it is more than regular kami.
