We all know this means he's ignorant of thermodynamics & the fact that use of combustion wastes >60% of the fuel's energy. That waste heat adds directly to warming apart from undesired CO2. It also requires that 60% be made up by either increased fuel burning, 'renewables', fossil, or nukes. Arjun is affable but incorrect and willing to mislead others, apparently for pay. Heading for Fox News?

Unfortunately, Arjun is unaware of the nuclear-power options we've had for 50 years and the fact that one of those options was operated for 4 years in the 1960s, but never funded for deployment because it couldn't make Pu for Cold War bombs!

And what happens in the winter when the sun stops shining and the wind mostly stops blowing at 5pm? Are people supposed to just go to sleep?
