I think i saw a programme on tv about this very subject recently, about workplace psychopaths. I think there is a growing awareness in the work environment that these people do exist and according to what i have read they are 4% of the population, and thats a lot of people. If they do get to the level of power that they get to because of the way they behave, in a superior way etc, then its going to be a difficult one to crack, hard to topple people at the top, but it can be done with effort.

Its clear to me that the problems that we are now facing in the natural world can be directly linked to the behaviours of our so called leaders. The checklist that Robert Hare has designed would easily identify these so called leaders as psycopaths.

i read this dean koontz book some years ago and it was about a cop that was a sado-masochist serial killer. but the killer in the book said that he thought that alot of other people like him ended up being politicians and that he could imagine looking at images of war victims and dead bodies right from government reports and having such a sense of excitment of knowing that he was causing it. that stuck with me for a while and i do believe that most world leaders are political psycopaths.
