the kingdom hearts games are made by both square enix and disney. so there's original characters that visit different worlds. for example, a Mulan world, a Nightmare Before Christmas world, a Final Fantasy world and a Mickey Mouse world. Donald n Goofy join your character Sora in traveling the universe and saving each of the worlds. other characters join you as well. so that's basically it. =) don't let the disney part of it fool you; the Kingdom Hearts games are still mature enough.
