Does it even matter who else has bowed guitars? Surely it's not what you're using to make music that matters, but rather the music itself that you're making. If a person could be thought of as unoriginal for the method with which they played an instrument, then everyone who's ever used a plectrum, put their hands on the keys of a piano, vibrated their lips on a reed, etc, would automatically be unoriginal... and that's pretty daft.

And for the record, Eddie Phillips did it before Page.

Don't think the bow usage had much to do with either Jonsi or Jimmy, as all three use bows in a hugely different way. Pretty sure it was pretty much an original kind of idea for them all.

They collaborated with Sigur Ros for a show of sorts, but it didn't involve any Radiohead or Sigur Ros songs.
