Hmmm....why the infared when this appears to have been filmed in the daytime. To me it looks like helium party balloons being blown along in the wind. I am a funeral director and I see balloons released at funerals all the time. They often move along together like in the video.

I'm the fun times and appreciate the speed of the objects. I own a lot in the sky I do this in such films. the height is about 2000-3000m (cloud formation) then the size corresponds to about a small airplane! as Cessna or something. the speed is likely the case with 150 - are 200 mph. So the birds are very fast. formation of these objects could also be observed here in germany, because these objects even lit.
have a question, there are migratory birds in Australia? would explain it quickly, at least for most. but we see that the flight behavior very typical for the migratory birds fly in the swarm. because this would fly in a triangular formation and the air turbulence ahead of the flying exploit in order to save energy. between one sees that 2 almost overlap, I rather think that the pilots are not migratory birds, but jokester, you know that of a fighter pilot.

Actually, Getlilslack1100, you are incorrect about the "lights" issue. This is a night IR vision system setup and indeed birds will light up bright. You are just not used to seeing how warm blooded creatures show up with an IR system. They DO look lighted, that is how the system works. So interesting vid, but no UFO fleet... Just birds.

Whatever's making that sound is stationary. The sound...It is either a duck call "a hunting device" or a duck that is out of place by way of captivity and has never had a mother because ducks usually don't "talk" like that. Zero per-cent chance of a goose.
About the objects...Ducks do not have a rigid pattern during flight. Geese have a tighter pattern that this. It could be that a few geese are above the event horizon (still in the sunlight) while the rest are below.

No way birds I have seen part of that exact formation come up on my eastern horizon at night, like a formation of stars The 8 on top if you pause video at 31 seconds into video. the 3 in the middle of a little off center then to the left the same 2 a little bit higher n then to the right the other ones That 8 formation rises almost every night on my eastern horizon, but they seem to have some form of a shield because I cannot videotape or photograph the formation Great video
Night vision & a IR pass filter increase the contrast & helps heaps in bright days when objects are so high. I was zoomed in 18X. They might be birds but I keep an open mind. Thanks for the comment.

Balloons will either deflate or pop when at an altitiude of 5 miles is attained. That's 15,000 feet for the dummies.
