this is the best song of the 2000's decade. I picked up Angles at a music store on a whim and I think it's pretty good. It took a while to sink in and it reminds me of Led Zeppelin's Presence album. At first you notice three songs then if you listen to the album 7 or 8 more times the other songs start to shine. for me at least!

But that's a thing with Angles, there are a couple songs, Undercover of Darkness, Gratisfaction, Taken for a Fool, all of those songs are fucking great, they stand out in the album like roses growing in a pile of shit. Taken for a Fool is definitely one of their best, competes with even Last Nite.

I love the strokes first three albums, and I was really excited for a new strokes album, but to me angles felt like it had been put together in about a year. It was very inconstant, the music styles on the album varied so often, Julian's voice was quite different, overall I just really didn't like i, especially since I was expecting an amazing album.
