What Piers discard in his explanation for dictatorships is that these were established by replacing democratic forces, that would use the resources of the area for the benefit of the local population. The puppet-dictactors had kept the population in line with very high repression, and gave control of the resources overseas. His argument that is an estategy in order to control dangerous people is false, is to control this people to eventually control resources and prevent popular uprising.

I like Ventura, but; "I can't discuss navy seal ops, we were told not to." Then, regarding wikileaks; "There is no problem discussing ops after the fact." "Cheney knew about 9/11." then; "i don't know if Cheney knew or not." "I shouldn't be searched because of who I am." Piers; "who would you search?" Ventura; "I don't know, I have no opinion." And he thinks ALL secret info should be released. He has some good points, but he is way too naive to be a politician. Great interview.

OMG. Watching this, I just developed a major dislike for Piers Morgan. Who is he to be telling Jesse that his theories are utterly wrong and that he knows the truth when in fact Piers couldn't know anything other than what we were fed to believe from the Media and Government. Jesse may not be right, either, but anyone stubborn enough to not question the possibility of corruption within our governments and their story on events is just a plain ass kisser.

I don't mind Piers challenging Jesse with these questions. It makes the interview interesting and it gives Jesse a chance to shoot down the public perspective of wars that Piers is representing. If Jesse knows what he is talking about then he should be able to answer these questions no problem which I think for the most part he is. I don't want to see Piers kiss his ass and just agree with everything, that isn't being a journalist. As long as he doesn't insult Jesse then this is okay.

What Piers discard in his explanation for dictatorships is that these were established by replacing democratic forces, that would use the resources of the area for the benefit of the local population. The puppet-dictactors had kept the population in line with very high repression, and gave control of the resources overseas. His argument that is an estategy in order to control dangerous people is false, is to control this people to eventually control resources and prevent popular uprising.

He worked for an entertainment newspaper that is full of gossip and exaggerated stories. He was good at selling papers, but I agree he over stepped the mark on a number of occasions.
