The lyrics, poetical style and gentle notes of the guitar are especially moving. One relaxes to hear this -- but not to the point of sleep because the mind wants to understand each word. This is very good quality and well worth listening to. One feels refreshed afterwards. This is the magic of Irish folklore music -- both cerebral and soul searching.
Wonderful to hear this song from Andy. I always felt it got a little ridiculed from that Olympia bootleg in 1981 and to see it here so masterfully played is a great pleasure. He has a touch for beauty in the melody that no-one can touch I reckon.
This man is a pure genius. His music transcends generations and genres. He's a true sacred icon of Irish traditional music and should be go down in history as one of the greatest pioneers of Irish traditional and folk music ever. I can't say enough great things about his music.

Soothes the soul This is one of the most beautiful songs I know, the way it is performed by Andy. I hope he will sing and play forever.

Wonderful song ! How this bouzouki is tuned ?

This is Andy´s Bass-Bouzouki made by Davy Stuart in New Zealand. When I met Andy last time it was tuned in deep DAEA.

Well, it seems that for this song the bouzouki is tuned C#G#EbG#, and with the capo on the 2nd it makes EbBbFBb.
This is so beautiful and so well performed.
Simply great.
