  • So weird hearing my name in a song!

  • Would you Welsh speakers please translate your comments into Englishl for us in brackets after the Welsh please??

  • Would be good to have a 'phonetic' version of this for us Englishmen to sing!

  • Clywed y gan yma yn cael ei ganu, fi yn mor proud i fod yn Gymro, Rhydian, rhwyn dy garu di, fantastic.

  • Late in life the composer received an invitation to tea in Aberystwyth from the fellow former student he used to take there to afternoon tea years before. Going separate ways as postgraduates, they had lost touch completely. He kept the appointment and a few weeks later heard that she had died and that it had been her dying wish to see him again. Though he had married, she never had and he was overcome with grief realising why not and that he had in fact loved her deeply.

  • There's SO much emotion in his voice for this song....I don't know Welsh but surely feels the most profound and deep emotion that his singing shows.
