As an atheist, I don't criticize other people's beliefs. Nor do I assume to know what's out there beyond what we as intelligent humans have learned about the universe and our existence thusfar.
However, I do criticize so many of the actions and consequences that result from faith-based beliefs. In other words, please believe whatever you'd like, but do not impart your beliefs unto others to the point of where it interferes with their lives.
Not really, what more ignorant, believing in something totally unseen and unpredictable or living by what we do know and predict. I think its more dangerous to be religious than scientific/rational. I however, am not religious, yet spiritual. You're right about not knowing though, I mean we really DONT know, people are too afraid to say I DONT KNOW.
