Hi John. Thanks for posting these great videos. I got into Tarantula keeping a while ago and went right to Poky slings. OK, so not the best choice for a novice keeper but they're now a few inchs and I've not had any major trouble, though they are lightening fast and a little defensive. I'm looking forward to when they're adult though, they should keep me on my toes!!
Hey John, me again. My juvie B.Smithi molted tonight and I was wondering whats the best way to preserve a molt? Perhaps yyou could do a video about molt preservation and care as i'm eager to keep as manyy of mine as I can, thanks
I have 4 species of baboon spider and that one that kind of makes me nervous is the Togo starburst. I also have Kilomanjaro Mustard Baoon ( Pterinochilus chordatus ), 3 obts ( 1 adult female , 1 slightly larger sling, and 1 of my female's slings ), I also own 2 king baboons. Yeah, the togo is lightning fast.
@Jon3800 Dont' have any featherlegs and I don't know if I want too after listening to you. I think that is just as important as knowing what species to get.
@Jon3800 Sweeeet!! M. balfouri? Just pulled the A. sp. "peru purple" sac!! Day 28 and I got a good number of 1st instars!!! Gonna post the video of that as soon as my camera gets done charging!!
@Jon3800 when i went to pet ladn i got bitten by a chilean rosehair they let me handel it was a full grown female about 6 inches not too big i guess but it hurt like getting stab or pinched by a sewing needle
I now have 8 t's(including a B. Sabulosum sling), i went from G. rosea to L. parahybana to H. Maculata to P. Pederseni to P. irminia to P. murinus to P. Ornata. I have learned a ton from your videos and your responses to my questions. You really helped me out on caring for slings and letting me know how feeding mice to ts can be bad. Thanks for the great videos.
Is there a vid or 2 of your more deadly & hard to get spiders that can be seen a bit better?
