Yea, the one that actuates the shoes inside the rear drums, that lock up the rear wheels which lock up the differential which locks up the driveshaft which locks up the output shaft of the transmission which locks up the transfercase/centerdiff/viscouscoupler - and voila, your front wheels are now, ALSO locked.
Pulling the e-brake on an awd car with a very constant and primitive 50/50 torque split through some sort of constant coupler, won't just lock up the rears, it'll lock up all four.
When apply brakes to the rear, which are directly mechanically linked to the fronts, which four tires do you guess will lock up? This ain't a front wheel drive something or other.
