  • Brilliant!

  • FUCKING AWESOME...GOOD JOB!!!!

  • Great video dude!

But, there's that sound effect at the end of the intro of the ship flying past, that would work SO well with the Devastator flying past and the camera shake! A small point I know.

Aside from that, great job editing! The clips work really well together and it has good timing!

I'm running the Crimson Skies board game as a roleplay, and I keep showing my players that clip because, it does sum it up quite well :P

  • Fricking awesome! I loved Crimson Skies and Firefly, I'm still hoping we'll get a sequel to both someday.

  • Where did that last scene with the zeps flying away come from? I haven't seen it before.

  • The epilogue/outro cutscene, of course. Where else could they happily ride out into the sunset ? ;-))) :-)

  • Man, I really need to play this game again, it's been too long if I've forgotten that haha

  • Nice edit. The music fits surprisingly well.

  • I'm not happy, the fonts dont work on Vista - so when I try to change controls or find objectives I just get multi-coloured squares!

The entire thing is working except for that little hiccup on Vista.

I orginally stumbled on this page while looking for some of the music, like when you kill a squadron (you remember - i know you do).

Unfortunately the CD is 575mb, which is small enough to transport, but just big enough to make for slow download. If i could i would send you a copy of the disk.

  • Gosh, I'd be grateful, but since it's really not very possible, you don't need to bother. Thanks anyway. I appreciate your help. :-)

P.S. Yeah, there is a soundtrack of the console sequel to CS on YouTube, but no music tracks from the original PC game. A pity... :-(

  • 'tis a pity - that was good music, the only problem was that it is an old-style coded game, wich means that music tracks arent readily accesable, unless you record them... but i dont think you can have the music up and all other sounds off while playing...

I wish you the best in luck for finding your own copy again

  • Thank you. :-) Actually, I have one little short swing track from the original CS. Should I send it to you via e-mail ?

  • Okay, good video. But since I see a little errors, shall I point them out?

  • Point them out. The new version is out now, since you already mentioned what Jack's real surname is... ;-)

  • Oh dear..... Something else too.......

Jack is named Jack Mulligen, and Jacko isn't an official nick for him, only Nathan calls him that.

The picture of Betty you showed isn't Betty at all, it's actually Tex Ryder, the Texas girl Nathan recruited into the Fortune Hunters.

    Anything else they are okay.

  • Shit. :-P OK, I'll redo it completely. :-) Trust me. As for Betty : She's the woman seen dancing in one of the scenes, right ?

  • Yeah, she was dancing with some other guy which could be someone from the Fortune Hunters.

Buck and Sparks can be seen in the background of the chapter 4 cutscene, dunno if you saw it, but just to let you know.

  • Have you tried backward compatibility. Vista can go down to 98.

  • Yes, was the first thing I tried... Didn't work...

It has been ages since I have done anything about it, maybe in the meantime it has settled down and unblocked stuff...

  • God, I love that game...

  • Me too. :-) But I lost my copy years ago and can't get another one anywhere. :-(

  • Wow, that DOES fit nicely. Nice editing.

  • Why... thank you... :-)
