Dreads: Chemicals And Shampoo

So what are the brands of shampoos you use currently? I use Suave clarifying shampoo because where i live isn't the right place to buy hair products.

Thank you... I used to use all of the Jamaican Lime products.... the ingredients concerned me as well.  You're right .. it really is about finding the right products for your hair. I started back on the LocaFella family of products... when I first loc'd my hair the stylist used them~ they're ok.. but hard to find.. After 5 years, I'm still auditioning products! LOL!

Does that Coconut Milk shampoo you used have any silicone based materials? You mentioned its sulfate and paraben free and that's definately a good thing to hear! :D

Okay, So far you've helped me with Moisturizer, hair growth & Gel vs Wax. but when it comes to Shampoo, I'm sorry, but "A Shampoo Like This" isn't enough when I don't even know what that shampoo is 'Like", lol. Could you elaborate?

@WhiteWoodEnt really it's just anything that is sulfate and paraben free. i say "like this" because alot of brands charge a lot (20$+) for organic shampoos. the one i have was like 3$ at walmart and i'm sure there are plenty of other affordable brands out there. but if you don't mind semi high prices, check out carols daughter. she makes an awesome shampoo for like 15$.

GREAT VIDEO!!! The ALS is worse then the SLS...Tresemme has ALS also...I like the "Kiss My Face" brand shampoo...its has no sulfates nor parabens nor animal products and no animal testing and it smells great. I like the mint kind, it tingles...lol...Carry on Mark!!!
