Just one problem. Rei hasnt got any problems with her non-existing mother at all!

Rei is first of all the reincarnation of shinji's mother Yui, who was a balanced person and a good mother. So I think the last thing what she would sing about is her mutter- this song could be shinji's song about Yui just as in thenamelless 's mutter-amv or could be of course Asuka's.

It also works for rei as well becuase lilith is her mother. she doesn;t know that, nor know why she feels she is worth like a doll. So it works, if you seen end of evangelion, she says "im home, and lilith welcomes her becuase she comes from her. and Rei is the clone of Lilith and Yui. so she isnt a reincanation.
