Genius Heath. Really good music. Great scenes. Awesome movie. Best comic book movie. Not the Godfather! I hope the third part (if Nolan makes it) gets an oscar, not this part.

I never liked the whole cartoonish glamor aspect of the first Batman movies and except for the first one with Nicholson as the Joker they all pretty much sucked - Though I do think Michelle Pfeiffer did Cat Woman to perfection.
I like this series is WAY better so far and oh yeah - Ellen Page as Harley Quinn would be AWESOME.
He REALLY HATED that role - he was good yes, but the whole thing had too much of a Tim Burton feel to it (think Betelgeuse). I know Gotham is well... Gothic, but I think that movie went a bit overboard -- lol - Christopher Walkin in that SILLY OUTFIT.

And Tim Burton did not "make" the dark Batman we see today. That was the studio's decision after they saw popularity with the 80s comic Dark Knight Returns. If Burton didn't make his movie dark, the studio would have used another director.

The only thing Tim Burton is good at doing is having sex with Johnny Depp. Michael Keaton was a HORRIBLE Batman. Why can't it come out before summer. Batman Begins was an actually great standalone film, disregarding the franchise, and this looks even better. Can't wait for the chemistry between Christian Bale, Aaron Eckhardt, and Heath Ledger (may he rest in peace). I hope Ledger doesn't completely steal the show though cuz Bale is truly amazing as well.

I like Jack better as joker. He also had the smile to fit the part. This joker seems a little to freaky for my taste. Not saying Heath could not play the part.

i like heath's joker because he is darker in tone.. Jack's was brilliant for the tim burton film but too light for this one..i like the idea of joker being a psychopath lacking empathy or care

Heath makes a better joker in that he truely acts the insane part the joker is supposed to be. Jack in the old batman made the joker seem like just a light spirited mean kid compared to Heath's dark psycopath portrayal

Why can't it come out before summer. Batman Begins was an actually great standalone film, disregarding the franchise, and this looks even better. Can't wait for the chemistry between Christian Bale, Aaron Eckhardt, and Heath Ledger (may he rest in peace). I hope Ledger doesn't completely steal the show though cuz Bale is truly amazing as well.

I remember 1st seeing the trailer for it, and being in shock i mean i knew he had the role but it didnt look or seem like him at all. It looks like he did such a great job. Cant wait to see it. May heath rest in peace. :/

I don't think Johnny Depp fits the part.
He's not the "comic book bad guy" type.
Jack Nickolsen did a great job as The Jocker.
I can't wait to see this movie. Heath was an

dont get ya hopes up too much cause there are only immediate plans to make a trilogy so we might nto get a chance to see any villians other then scarecrow, joker & 2-face. but then again, after you've seen the joker what more do you REALLY need lol. but personally i think it would be much more interesting to see how they re-do penguin (if there's a 4th)

i doubt very much they would do anything after the dark knight..
but it would still be great to see if they could include Harley Quinn and make her more sinister. who knows maybe chris nolan will just do this one and then in another 5 years or something we'll get more villains. they'll probably make batman movies until they die lol. hopefully.

I second that but wit the way movie companies take 2-4 years to make sequals ya gotta think that by the time they get to the 4 it'll be 2014 and nolan and bale probably wont wanna do another one after that. and if wb DID make a 4th batman without em we'd have to hope and pray the franchise doesnt take the ugly turn the 90's franchise did when keaton and burton decided to walk away from it.

batman forever was great - batman and robin was well.. it was terrible.
i liked the batgirl thing but i duno.. seemed a bit half-hearted really.

i dont think anyone else could really get it right.
maybe they could do one with catwoman and another villain, or maybe the penguin and a different villainess. it'd be interesting tho to see how dark chris nolan could make him.

no there is no reason to make another penguin movie, the first one was perfect. no reason to remake that one. now i do think they should remake the ones they screwed up on. like two-face, the riddler, poison ivy, and the ice-man.

no way! they didnt screw up the riddler. jim was PERFECT. mr freeze was ok i suppose.. but yeah two-face needs improving. and poison ivy well lets just not go there.
they could make mr freeze quite sinister in this type of batman, i think. and poison ivy would be much more of an evil seductress as opposed to silly plant woman, as she was in that bomb of a movie.

ah ok cool u meant the movie with the riddler. yeah two-face was definitely too goofy. he was too..i duno. fake. both sides of him seemed basically the same and its sposed to be a contrast. i never really liked two face that much anyways. not a very interesting character. i mean its horrible for bruce and all. but still.
ooh maybe they could do Jane Doe shes cool. if u duno her look her up. small character but still quite cool.
