People date the type of person they find attractive. Whether that be physically, mentally, intellectually or emotionally. More often than no, you pick your mate based on how they appeal to you in one or more of those areas. It just depends on what you place a high value on. I went to a high school in North cali with a little bit of everything race wise and there was nto a lot of tension between asians/ blacks. Can't remember any serious drama. Asian culture is still stuck to the colonial mindset. That's why biracial asian/whites all become celebrity in Asia. However, it's more on the black women to change this. I believe you can do it. Asian men, for the most part, are highly educated and very financially secured, so they will expect at least college educated black females to " be on their level". Puerto Rican = Taino Indian, African, and Spanish blood. The African cultures are woven into their overall culture. It's the same for many Hispanic cultures. Although racism can still be found in these cultures, there is more of a realization that the various groups have lived together for centuries. There is more in common than with some other groups, like the Asian culture. Although most have experienced being conquered, many Asians worship European skin, features and European culture.
