that is not the right kind of wheel. it needs to be flat, not slatted so your hamster will run without hurting her feet.

1. it's too small

2. there's no high litter to grub & dig own in-ground tubes

3. the cage is full of plastic - nothing natural as wood

4. these plastic tubes are not adequate ventilated, not good to clean, to narrow & precipitous, & transparent. Where can he hide?

5. the wheel is to small, that's bad for the back.

i would go crazy! both because the tubes are so small ( minor problem ) and because i have to live in small parts as big as plastic balls or live in tubes i mean that's like living in a room or going through a tiny hallway you barely fit in to get to an even more crowded room full of accessories you don't even use he probably freezes at night without any bedding!

a smooth sided tube is harder for a hamster to climb (but easier to clean).

A tube with ridges (like the critter trail tubes) are easy for the hamster to climb in (mostly recomended for dwarf hamsters) but a bit harder to clean (the sponge gets stuck in the tube and your hand might get scratched)

What's the frickin point of this? Hamsters are useless and stupid.. All they do is eat,sleep and shit. @LittleMew133 Well you are correct there, BUT unlike hasmters, us humans got emotions. So does other pets you could buy for the money you spent building all this crap, and they are also cuddly and cute, and unlike hamsters, they will appreciate your care and love, and show their loyalty to you(like dogs or parrots). Hamsters on the other hand don't understand shit. They don't appreciate the care you put into raising it and building it's home, because they are too stupid to do that.

@telamindel Hamster do have emotions like all others. They do appreciate the all the toys, u know. Mine would rush to the new toy and would be all over it for the few couple days. WHenever I put my hand in they would come and lick it or climb on my hand. My old hamster would even greet when I arrived home. But it is true that dog is more interactive and somewhat more intelligent but it all depend on which hamster or dog you're having, just like us individual, each have different personality.

Terrible cage. Hamsters need floor space and they *love* to dig. The metal wheel is too small and dangerous. Ventilation is also an issue...because there is none.

Just a little thought: Runged wheels are bad for hamsters feet and can cause injuries. Weaving cardboard in between the rungs can be a good temporary solution until you can buy a proper wheel. PS, hamsters are natural burrowers. I don't see much bedding...
