Moderate feminism still has a place in the world, to tackle sex abuse or inequalities in civil and political rights in places where those sadly persist. In the civilized world (and I have no compunction in using that term: I don't think that undemocratic nations can be termed 'civilized'), women's quality of life and sense of self-worth have hit a glass ceiling (to use that phrase in a different context), which cannot be broken without a return to adapted conservative values.
I completely agree. It's rather sad, but extremely telling, that leftists, both male and female, often sneer at Margaret Thatcher, claiming that she was not 'a real woman', as if leftists had any more of a right to define women than traditionalists do. I'm completely support moderate feminists, who wanted recognition that, while different, men and women are of equal value as human beings, and who wanted broadly equal rights. But, radical feminism is sadly a form of misogyny.
