there are a lot of reasons why people don't like christian anymore. I think the biggest is Hypocrisy. i used to be a catholic, very devout, and at the time i listened to metal, all types. Then one day, while siting in church i decided that i couldn't be apart of a religion that persecuted and try's to destroy the very thing that i love, metal. I was not going to let some priest tell me im going to hell, while he is feeling up an alter boy. Its hypocritical.
and then of course you have the fuck ups of the church, like the Inquisition and the crusades. Basically the church telling people to kill innocent women for the sake of witchcraft. and the crusades were ultimate failures to try and win back the holy land. In the end it comes back to hypocrisy, how can you have a religion based on a man who taught about love and respect for each other, and then turn around commit atrocities such as those, its hypocritical.

I have my own rules (like the ten commandement, but in my opinion those are just the normal way rules of life. Steal, cheating, murder and so on normal don't do, no need a damn church). no problem. i mean i have alot of my own personal hatered behind christians myself but i try not to let it control myself and not blame "all christian", i was like you once thought, very unsure of what i believe in. i used practice Wicca, then i dove into church of Satan, and then i kinda of just back off all religion and desided "ya i believe in a god/ higher power" but thats it. i think life is to complicated to be simply answered by the bible, You have to find God for yourself.

there are a lot of reasons why people don't like christian anymore. I think the biggest is Hypocrisy. i used to be a catholic, very devout, and at the time i listened to metal, all types. Then one day, while siting in church i decided that i couldn't be apart of a religion that persecuted and try's to destroy the very thing that i love, metal. I was not going to let some priest tell me im going to hell, while he is feeling up an alter boy. Its hypocritical.

and then of course you have the fuck ups of the church, like the Inquisition and the crusades. Basically the church telling people to kill innocent women for the sake of witchcraft. and the crusades were ultimate failures to try and win back the holy land. In the end it comes back to hypocrisy, how can you have a religion based on a man who taught about love and respect for each other, and then turn around commit atrocities such as those, its hypocritical.
