The hand shake was very easy to miss because the angle of the camera was from the back of teh stage towards Brokaw at which point McCain and Obama get in the way of the Camera. They are in the way because they are shaking hands.

McCain tapped Obama on the back and acted like it was his wife who tapped him. McCain stepped to the side as if he didn't touch Obama and pointed towards his wife. He attempted to distract Obama from talking to the audience. This gesture clearly shows that McCain is sneaky and simply is a coward. McCain is a chump who didn't want to shake his oppenents hand and acted like a kid in the post debate. If you are intelligent, you will vote for Obama. It should be an easy decision...

Also interesting that Michelle Obama is greeting everyone in the stands, shaking hands, talking with people ... while Cindy McCain stays in the background with her hands behind her back, not talking to anyone. From what I know of psychology tapping or guiding someone on the back in a "friendly" way like that can often be a way of trying to assert your dominance over them. I'm not surprised McCain crapped himself when Obama turned round and offered a gesture based on a equal relationship.
