I never play in standard in fact, this cover was in drop C# (half step down and E string dropped to C#). A regular guitar fits other tunings well, however it's better to have a no tremolo guitar to go easily from standard to drop tunings. Actually, I currently play in standard D, so it is standard less a whole tone, which I can drop to C. If you wanna play Metal, I'd recommend LTD or Schecter (but models above 800 dollars).

If you wanna try baritone tuning, which is standard with 2,5 step down, you can also buy the PRS SE Mike Mushok signature, which is not too expansive (700-800 dollars) and is recommended to play in low tunings (because of the higher scale). But you can also find LTD baritones, yet I prefer the PRS I think.

I don't have the time to make a tab, plus this kind of music really take looooonnnng time to be tabbed.

As I always say, trying to find it by yourself is a good way to learn, because a musician does not only need technique, but also a good ear. Working your ear is as good as working your technique with songs like these. So do both in one by trying to find it. Slow the song down, it will be easier.
