Learn your Tech History before you go calling him the best coach, also look at his pre conference schedules after the Spike era was gone. YOU need to get YOUR facts straight, bro, Dykes was entertaining at best. Leach won the conference and had them national-championship bound (for a few weeks). Leach won 84 games in 10 seasons. Dykes won 82 in 14 seasons. So, to the Tech historian, you need to know what you're peddling.

Lets subtract all of the Canadian Junior highs that he played. Take a look at a Spike preconference schedule tell me who wasnt afraid to play the big boys

And where are you getting your facts from, texas had a combined losing record during those years? McWilliams 31-26, Mackcovic 41-28; looks like both of these coaches were over .500. Also, during this time no one was that good in the state of Texas most of every texas school had NCAA infractions which lowered their scholarship players. You need to read up on your history
