  • Lance's comment was about Contador needlessly attacking in '09, costing Lance AND Contador's *TEAMMATE* Kloden a podium finish.

Contador is either very selfish and/or not very bright.

  • @TheSmashcan I'm pretty sure he's not very bright. At all.

  • @TheSmashcan i saw this back in the days...god it pissed me off...

  • No but lets face it.. that tour was only going to be won by either contador or schleck. If there was other riders threatning the gc overall then yeah attack. But contador knew it was only shleck that he had to worry about and he took advantage of the chain falling.

  • thats what happens when you talk too much shit...

  • @cpinheirorosa jus like u then eh.. :/

  • at least lance knows how to keep his mouth shut! lol

  • more team mates or ex team mates of armstrong the biggest fraud in sporting history, druged to the eye balls with all sorts of crap, armstrong is the biggest, cheat, liar, scum bag in history all will be jailed and stripped of all his fake titles HOW THE MIGHTY FALL,!!!!!!

  • contador is king, better than lance ever was or could be that is a (FACT) armstrong only ever cared about himself not the team, now the tide has been turned on the biggest fraud in sporting history, and the twat dosent like it, contador will always be better than lance the drug king armstrong,!!!!!!!!!!

  • @joe99f1 I have to disagree. Contador may have a growing pedigree of grand tour races, but the truth is that he isn't nearly as dominant as Lance was. Of Contador's 5 tour wins, three of them were by margins of less than a minute, one was by little over a minute, and two of them were without stage wins. Lance dominated the Tour for seven straight years, claimed at least one stage in each, and was only really challenged in one tour- otherwise winning by a margin of 4-7 minutes.

  • @YiftertheShifter1 Contador only won 3 tours. Whered you get five from??

  • @wwtdd1 I meant five grand tour wins (3 Tours, 1 Giro, 1 Vuelta)- it's now 6, with his 2nd Giro win this year. I was a bit squeezed for room in that last comment.

  • @YiftertheShifter1 2 giros and 1 vuelta dont compare to one tour. The best of the best are not at the giro or vuelta. Theyre at the tour every year.

  • @wwtdd1 On the contrary, there are plenty of big talents who line up every year for the Giro and the Vuelta. True, the Giro and Vuelta don't have as much prestige as the Tour, but a grand tour is a grand tour. This year's Giro was perhaps the toughest grand tour in terms of completion (lots of summit finishes/descents), and Contador made it look easy.

  • @YiftertheShifter1 Andy shleck, frank schleck, and cadel evans were not there. lol the guys that beat him in this years tour. lol Point proven.

  • @wwtdd1 I don't know about the Schlecks, but Cadel Evans was at the Giro last year (winner of the points jersey). Mark Cavendish and Alessandro Petacchi were there this year... or do they not count as "best of the best?" Or how about Marco Pantani and Mario Cipollini in the past, or Eddy Merckx, Indurain, Hinault, and others? Andy, Frank, and Cadel weren't there because they focus specifically for the Tour; in this day and age, cyclists usually peak for one Grand Tour a year.

  • @YiftertheShifter1 i thought we were talking GC contenders bro. and cadel evans is not at the giro (if he was this year) trying to win anymore he does it for training for the tour. And in th eddy merckx days racing was racing! every race they had to win because they were true racers none of that "im saving myself for worlds or the tour" bullshit like they have these days you know like lance and contador so you cant really add merckx here because racng was so different back then.

  • @wwtdd1 Your comment was specifically, "2 giros and 1 vuelta dont compare to one tour. The best of the best are not at the giro or vuelta. Theyre at the tour every year." Well, here I just provided several examples. And in Eddy Merckx's days, sport (and indeed the whole professional world) was not as specialized as it is today: just as there are doctors who deal specifically with the heart rather than the whole body, there are cyclists who do just one-day classics versus three week tours.

  • @YiftertheShifter1 Wow good stuff bro. I agree 100%. Sad though, i wish there was still riders that could win paris roubaix and tour of flanders and then win the tour the same year like a real all rounder should.

  • @wwtdd1 Well last year Cadel was 5th overall and he certainly was trying to beat Ivan Basso (the eventual winner) on the Zoncolan, so it does show some overall ambitions. He was the "best of the best" in this year's tour, so again your statements contradict reality. Well, I also mentioned Hinault, Indurain, Pantani, and add Roche, Fignon, and others. There are some who use the Giro just as training for the Tour, but winning the Giro or the Vuelta is not nearly as easy as you make it to be.

  • Whether or not your allegations are correct is yet to be seen. Contador has a scandal of his own to deal with. Note that I respect both riders- I don't dislike any of them, they're both great champions.

  • @joe99f1 Contador attacked while schlecks chain fell and had to stop and contador didnt slow down a bit for him in 2010. Jan Ullrich CRASHED and lance waited for him in 2001. True Champion=Lance. No dignity=Contador.

  • @wwtdd1 so when a formula 1 car breaks down they all wait till its fiixed, or when a runner pulls up with an injury everyone stops and waits, or a rally car gets a punture everyone stops till its fixed, I DONT THINK SO get real its racing and you do what you must to win end of story,!!!!!

  • he should bite his balls.ohhh i forget hi doesn't have well only one ....fuc.....pu....farmstrong ... and whose gonne 2 jail

  • Ok idiots, he's nearly 38 here, finished 3rd in the race. He's commenting on Alberto dropping his own teammate on a climb. Contador again this year attacked when Schleck's chain slipped off, he's classless and needs to understand tour etiquette. Lance doesn't have anything to prove as far as biking ability, father time catches up to us all. I'd like to see Contador try and stay with Lance in '00 on Mt Ventoux or the Alp D'Huez TT.

  • @forumchatter09 Explain why Armstrong made the team work the pace when contador was behind? so the attack was the responce.

Alberto ask for apologize with the Schleck thing and if schleck had ressources he would have got back on contador who waited he didn't work in the front it was ... I don't remember. But fuck armstrong

  • Hahaha, what one can say when outclassed? Go get some vitamins in the bus.

  • He's the last person to respect the "old order" cycling rules - he was swearing his head off at Moreno Argentin when he was a stagiere! The best man won - and will win again this year. I cannot wait for the mountains. I'm going to predict Armstrong will be slaughtered on the Tourmalet - twice.

  • Lance couldn't hang.

  • Contador is such a Champion

  • contador is such a douchs

  • @rbonilla18 Like you?

    why he's a duchs?

    prick...
