Love looking at the older videos B5. Got a question, with the comments about chili powder and beans, are you a fan of a certain Food TV show that features "Good Eats"? :)
Im glad i stumbled across this video MrBablefish5 although i do enjoy a mild amount of beans in my chili i tried out this recipe and it was wonderful. I dont know why I never though of using the chips as a thickener ive always used crackers. Loved it 5/5 :)
I am so stoked on finding your channel! This is great. I camp/hike/canoe/cook outside ALOT. You make quick to the point vids and it's easy to follow. One of the best parts of camping or being out on the trail is fixing a fine meal. It can make or break the trip. I have learned how to whip up some pretty good grub on the trail, but I am taking in your stuff and gonna use it.
We don't want chili powder with preservatives.... but do add in store bought CANNED diced tomatoes, salsa & pkg'd Tostitos...???? From a preservatives point of view I don't see the point in avoiding preservatives in one ingredient, but adding them en mass in the others.
That aside, your chili looks fantastic. If preservatives are a concern there are many preservative-free options for your other ingredients. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for uploading the video! Done a good job of getting me hungry and inspiring me to go look for other recipes. Unfortunately I cant say I can take the heat (chilli) as much as you can. Eating chilli is fine... it is the other end that is the problem :).
Ya can't find better tastin' chow for camping than chilli. I hope you don't see my 'Throwing Beer Away' video. You might wanna drag me through some west Texas cactus.
that is awesome looking chili but i'm afraid all those chilis might make me run fast in one direction!! not a good idea if i'm sleeping in my hennessy ;)

Good presentation. I'm a beans-in kinda myself. I had to laugh at a recent ad for a "Texas" style chili. The can was loaded with beans. Hilarious!

Thats a good idea actually using the chips in the chili. Never thought of that!
