Of course that's a literal translation, and probably doesn't convey the true meaning of the song. Like the classic "Bei Mir Bis Du Schon" literally converts to mean "To me, you are nice", but in the song it's translated as "I love you". Of course that's Pennsylvania Deutsch, so probably not the best example.
