Thanks for the advise. I'll have to look for one of those, because that sure would make it easier. Yes the butterflies have wires, but so far everything looks fine. If they turn ugly, then I guess I will have to take them out, but so far they look great. Thanks for your comments :))

Very pretty! You could use one of those "Lazy Susan" cake decorating turntables. I think it makes a difference in the piping because the angle of your hand doesn't need to change by moving around the cake. You "make the cake come to you." Know what I mean? Not sure if that makes sense. :)

And I'm wondering....do those cute little butterflies have wires sticking into the soap? And if so, do you think there might be some kind of chemical reaction from the lye, like rusting or dissolving?
