It's heart-wrenching, to be honest... after several months of searching, he finally finds a sympathetic soul other than his mechanic/friend. It shows how fragile Domon actually was, I believe, and helps the viewer to connect with him better.
You'd never see Sasgay do this, and this is why Sunrise rules where Kishimoto fails. -_-;
@PrinceOfAltea sasukes situation is entirely different you idiot his whole clan was murdered not just immediate family while he was what 6 or 7 far more impressionable than domon at 18.... and even then sasuke still had emotion and refused to kill up until he finds out the truth behind the uchiha massacare
