It is wonderful to see these videos of Gyorgy. I had the opportunity to study with him and drive him to his concerts in Sicily (1980's). Indeed, one of the last great pianists from the golden era.
I loved his playing. His rendition of Bach's "Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue" on Columbia Masterworks is without equal.
I had the honor and privilege of speaking to him a few years ago and, thankfully, was able to tell him directly how much I appreciated his playing. He was kind and generous.
I was saddened to hear that he is no longer with us.

I am so glad you are sharing this video of Mr. Sandor, He was my teacher. A very kind gentleman and an extremely knowledgeable virtuoso artist.
