Great bit. It has every element that Ingmar Bergman did at the time (late-50's) and would do later on: The two women characters, full of frustrations, the camera showing them in almost parallel lines, and the element of surprise (the person handing them the Coke cans as an example).

Titled simply Thirst, its YouTube summary reads in part: What if director Ingmar Bergman did a commercial for Coca Cola? Written and directed by Leslie Chase, the film is set in the late 50s and follows the thirsty, lonely lives of two Swedish sisters. Its tribute, its dead-on parody, and its genius."

I enjoyed this clip too, but I fail to understand what a "dichotomy satire" has to do with the phrenic nerve? Do you mean that they have the "nerve" to dare to make fun of Bergman?
