I travel with work and frequent Starbucks almost every day, but whenever there is a caribou I'm going there. There coffee blows away starbucks and there stores are a much better atmosphere.
Not bad actually, when you consider the vast difference between the west coast and the midwest (where Caribou resides). To a mid-westerner, the concept of anti-fake would fit right in.
Sort of a stab at Starbucks when we think of some of the stereotypes you might imagine there. Not the smartest idea. I bet a lot of people who visit Caribou are just as passionate, if not more, with Starbucks. It's like you ripped on the customers family. Not the best brand message either, especially for starting out on advertising. No clear picture of what Caribou stands for.
